Platelet Rich Plasma and the biology of healing
What Sets our PRP apart?
Vacuum Sealed, internally coated glass tubes designed to prevent platelets from ‘sticking‘ to the tube walls and all precisely draws blood at a pressue that prevents lysing of the cells.
Proprietary anti – coagulant (MNC7) modified to reduce acidity while preventing coagulation of platelets and deliver non activated platelets physically positioned on top of gel.
Separator gel is designed to spare up to 80% (+/-platelets), remove up to 99.9% of RBC and remove 95% of granulocytes
Cellenis PRP components are designed to produce the highest performing PRP
Eliminate red blood cells
Maximize monocytes for platelet activation
Physiologic pH-balanced
Available in normal or high concentration cersions
Thixotropic gel minimizes WBC, removes RBC and ensures maximized platelet concentration
90% inammatory white blood cells removed
99%+ red blood cells removed
11 ml PRP provides 6-7 ml of 2x concentration
22 ml PRP provides 12-13 ml of 2x concentration or 6-7 ml of 5x concentration
How does it work?
As part of the bodyʼs healing ability, platelets and other components in human blood migrate to the point of care. Platelets are well known to release numerous growth factors that respond to tissue injury and initiate and promote the conditions for healing.
Cellenis® PRP is an autologous system that allows physicians to prepare platelet-rich plasma at the point of care. The platelet-rich plasma is optimally concentrated with minimal amounts of contaminating red and white blood cells. This system has been safely used in hundreds of thousands of procedures worldwide.
HORIZON 6 Flex FA centrifuge
The HORIZON 6 Flex FA centrifuge features a fully digital display and 10 programmable cycles for flexible fixed angle processing in the routine lab. Easily save and select your custom time, RPM, and g-force settings, or choose from three (3) carefully formulated presets.
The LED lit lighting prevents forgotten samples and indicates when the centrifuge is ready, running, or done. Process all blood tubes of 125 mm/15 mL or less, right out of the box.
